Bottle Water Filtration Process

Bottle water is a type of drinking water packaged in plastic bottles for personal use and retail. It mainly uses spring water, well water, pure water, tap water and other water sources to be canned after filtering and sterilizing. The bottled water is coarsely filtered using iron-manganese quartz sand, then sterilized and filtered to remove suspended solids, algae, bacteria, molds, etc. in the water, and finally sterilized by ultraviolet rays and ozone. In general, there are 6types bottle water will appear in supermarket and 7 Eleven store etc.
Natural mineral water: Natural or artificial mineral water as resource
Artificial mineral water: Good quality mineral water or distilled water mixed inorganic salt
Mixed mineral water: Different ratio of mineral water as resource
Pure water: Low/Without ion filtered water
Bottled drinks: Mixed juice, suger and mineral water
Soda water: Low PH with NaHCO₃ water

Mineral Water as mainly bottle water resource, because of the water includes high percent of iron and other mineral substances, especially, Ferric iron. We need to do some treatment. It will flow to raw water tank from underground to balance the water. Generally, SS material tank would be choice priority, it could highly reduce bacteria risk. Then it will filter by multi-media filter which install with many layers sandy and could effectively remove Iron and Manganese. Before 2nd Water tank, security cartridge filter will polishing and tacking the particles which could leak from media filter and keep water clear. During store water, in case of particle and bacteria pollution, people will use gas venting filter as air and pressure balance channel. After 2nd water tank, today micron filtration process are widely used in bottle water process, like Pall, Sartorius, Parker, 3M and Orientfiltr etc. professional companies. In general, Micro filtration process example as below: 1st pre filter with 1.0μm + 2nd Pre filter with 0.45μm + 3rd Final Sterile filter with 0.22μm. For one thing, it will remove big particle and provide longer lifespan for cartridge  filter; for another thing, the solution ensure bacteria like E. Coli 99.98% remove ratio. In order to bacteria 100% removal, bottle water factory will use UV + Ozonater device. Before final package, 0.45μm/0.65μm security cartridge filter wouldn’t be ignored. So when we see many kinds of bottle water in super market.
